We compiled a list of team goals together, and decided on the team name the “Western Wonders”. We chose a sheriff’s badge for our team symbol, and our motto “In the west, we do our best.”

We compiled a list of classroom management guidelines as well as instructional procedures. We used google docs to compile our lists, then transferred them to our western themed blog website.

We met to complete a plan for parent/guardian involvement throughout the year. We created 3 categories of relationships: teacher-family, team-family, school-family. Within these categories we chose an array of opportunities to develop these relationships.

We met and discussed an advisory plan for the quarter. We came with 9 activities for each week.

We viewed feedback on items we had turned in and added motivational techniques and positive reinforcement to our classroom management as well as more details to our advisory activities about what students will being doing and what teachers will be doing.

We created our WebQuest under our unit plan, and decided to use it as an introduction to our unit. We decided the students would complete the WebQuest in advisory.

We created our team unit objectives. We also made an outline of our team unit assessment of a hoedown including students and their families , and thought of questions to ask in class.

We finished the outline for our team assessment and considered each content area. We created a task for each content area in our hoedown assessment.

We discussed our final presentation, and decided to present our information via a radio show. We jotted down information in order to write the radio show script at our next meeting.
