- Team Grading Procedures
- Grades will be based on a percentage grading scale:
- Late Work Policy
- To discourage late work, students with late work are required to meet with a tutor during their study hall period. Tutors will receive a list of the student’s late work, and guide the student in completion. Late work must be placed in the assigned late work bin in each classroom, and the assignment will be dropped half a letter grade.
- Make-up Work Expectations
- Students with an excused absence will receive 2 days per day they’re gone to make up class work. If students miss class work due to an unexcused absence, they must follow the late work policy.
- Extra Credit
- A 5 point extra credit opportunity will be available each week.
- Grade Report Process
- Grade Reports will be accessible online as well as mailed to legal guardians at the end of each term.
- The cut-off date for all items to be included on Grade Reports will be one week before the reports are posted/mailed.
- Homework Procedures
- Teachers will have homework assignments posted on a designated section on their class board. Students are expected to write down each homework assignments in their planners, and teachers will check off each student’s planner on their way out the door.
- Paper Headings
- Each homework assignment will have to include the due date, the student’s name, as well as the class period in the upper right hand corner.
